Weather : Cool and drizzly but clearing later and quite humid.

Water, water everywhere in the Park… even the small rivulets are flowing for the first time in years ! Four male lions were walking down the road near the Centenary Centre turn off early this morning including one very old and war scarred veteran who sat down in the middle of the road as we approached and made it clear he wasn’t moving anytime soon !! We had good buffalo sightings throughout the day as well as good bird sightings.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings : Lion, Elephant, Buffalo.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game : Warthog, Baboon, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra etc.
