Weather: Comfortable weather today, warm but not too hot, with a light breeze.

A little quiet out there today initially but around 7 30 a.m. near Mpila we had elephant, wild dog and hyaena sightings all within the space of a few minutes. After that all was quiet for most of the day although we had reasonably good bird sightings. Near Le Dube later on we saw the tail end of what appeared to be quite a large elephant herd.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo… plus wild dogs and hyenas.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General game (impala warthog zebra giraffe etc…..)
