EuroZulu Wildlife Diary – Saturday 09 February 2013

Weather: A scorcher today, reaching 32 deg. around midday.

For the second day running we had excellent elephant, rhino and buffalo sightings today. No cats on show today but a highlight was a Natal green snake about to pounce on an unsuspecting foam nest tree frog. It’s not always the big animals that are the most interesting!

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo… and hyenas.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game: Warthog, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe etc.

Till the next sighting!!!
