Weather: Pretty hot out there today, well into the 30’s but thankfully with a refreshing breeze.

A good day overall with cheetah, lion and elephant sightings. Although none of them were spectacular sightings, and given the tough times of late, we were only too grateful to see these animals at all. Precious few rhino around and a complete lack of large herds of general game, which we find very worrying.

Umfolozi Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino…. and cheetah.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Baboon, Zebra , Giraffe etc.
