Weather: Hot and windy, not good game viewing weather at all.

Another tough day out there in the bush today although we did hear about a lion near Mpila camp and a cheetah sighting near view point 21 in the south. We had to settle for a couple of bull elephants scattered around the south and a small breeding herd in The Umfolozi river at Umganu picnic site. We did have good rhino sightings today but not many buffaloes around at all.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino …. and cheetah.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Warthog, Wildebeest, Antelope, Zebra, Baboon, Giraffe etc.
