Weather: Cool and overcast early but warm and windy from late morning.

After all the recent rain there is so much water around and the bush is so thick that it amazes me that we see any animals at all at the moment. Although today was not as spectacular as yesterday  ( in that we saw no cats ) we had really good rhino, buffalo and elephant sightings.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo. Rhino.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Warthog, Zebra, Wildebeest, Baboon, Giraffe etc.
