Weather: Very hot out there today, around the mid 30 degrees but thankfully with a slight breeze out of the south.

For the 3rd day running there was precious little to see in the Park today except for general game and a few elephants and rhinos. It’s an eerie feeling to drive around for stretch after stretch and see absolutely nothing. We had a lot of overseas guests stop and ask us where to go to see some animals so all in all it was a thoroughly disappointing day. It does, however, teach us to appreciate the good days more than we sometimes do, and also to realize once again that we have no control over animal behaviour!!

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game: Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Zebra, Baboon, Giraffe etc.
