Weather : A little wet and cool early on but fine and mild with no wind from around mid morning.

Plenty of lions in the Park today, it’s not often that you see more lions than either giraffes or rhinos but that was the case today – we had four separate lion sightings and there were even more sightings which we did not have the time to get to. Rhino and buffalo sightings were sparse but we did find a small herd of elephants at the Umfolozi bridge late in the morning.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings : Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game : Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Baboon, Giraffe, Zebra.
