The weather pattern we’ve been experiencing recently showed no signs of abating today. It was hot, windy and dry as a bone out there and our rewards were modest to say the least. We did have a good black rhino sighting and a couple of bull elephants treated us to a display of mud bathing in the Umfolozi river but other than that it was extremely tough going. The predators all seem to have gone AWOL and even general game was sparse. Ah well… as we’ve remarked on often in the past during tough times, we’ve just gotta hang in and the tide will turn !!
