We could not have asked for a better start to our day !! Not even one minute into the Park we had a pride of lions in the road in front of our vehicle. They moved off a few minutes later and then we realized that they had made a kill a little earlier because there were a few more lions dining out on an unidentified carcass about 50 meters away. Our day got even better a little later when we were treated to a cheetah and her 4 cubs playing with each other near the end of Sontuli loop. There were lots of elephants around today and also a lot of rhino moms with young calves. Near Bhekaphansi pan a couple of hyenas were sleeping in the tall grass. They seem to have set up residence in that area as they have been seen there frequently during the past couple of days.
