What has happened to summer ??!! It’s already mid November but the morning temperatures during the past few weeks have been colder than the winter months ! All this means a slow start to the day sometimes because it seems the animal are also feeling the cold. Having said that we were fortunate enough to see the pride of lions that have been hanging around the main Umfolozi bridge again today. Not all of the pride showed itself but we did get to see two adult females and three cubs. Unfortunately there are road works in the vicinity and the cats were scared off by all the activity later on during the morning. There were good elephant, rhino and buffalo sightings as well and we even had a glimpse of a cheetah far off from viewpoint 17 in the south.
