It was a day of two halves today !! For a few hours it seemed as though there was not an animal in the whole of the Park, but then, as it warmed up after a cold and damp start, they all came out to play. There were elephants near marker 12 in the south and a pride of 6 lions chilling out just through Mpila camp. We also had a good hyena sighting near marker 15 – this animal is always a favourite among our guests !! There was a confirmed leopard sighting near Nyalazi gate but general game and bird sightings were poor. So, a mixed bag it was…well, that’s the bush for you !!
