Weather : Hot but not uncomfortable with a mild easterly wind.

Highlight today was a brief sighting of a cheetah mom with 2 cubs between markers 25 and 26 in the south. We also saw two hyenas near Umganu at around 6.30 this morning. Plenty of buffalos around and good rhino sightings as well. General game, however, was poor.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings : Buffalo, Rhino…. plus cheetah and hyena.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game : Baboon, Zebra, Wildebeest, Warthog, Antelope, Giraffe etc.
