Taking an afternoon drive into the iSimangaliso Wetland Park on our Sunset Safari provides a different perspective to a standard safari experience as the wildlife transitions from day to dusk.
You will be collected from your accommodation in St Lucia in one of our open game vehicles and taken on a leisurely game drive through the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our experienced guide will discuss the history of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park and share their local knowledge about the animals, birds and plants of this unique area.
As the sun starts to set, observe how the wildlife winds down and the landscape changes as dusk draws in. Nocturnal animals such as leopards and hyenas may be sighted as they wake ready to start hunting or foraging for food. Stopping for sundowner drinks and refreshments along the way where you will be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush. Your tour finishes as you are driven back to St Lucia and returned to your accommodation.
