Weather: Comfortable out there today – warm but not hot and a gentle breeze.

Lots of eles around today at various locations. We also had good rhino sightings. Earlier, near Umganu we encountered two hungry looking hyenas who seemed to be on a mission to find breakfast ! Highlight of the day was seeing a lioness stalk and chase a young wildebeest near Bhekaphansi pan. She missed out on her meal but it was great to witness the drama unfolding in the process.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings: Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo… and Hyena.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings: Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game: Warthog, Wildebeest, Zebra, Giraffe etc.
