Weather : Extremely hot out there today , around the mid 30’s and no wind to speak of.

A good day indeed, with lion, wild dog, hyena and elephant sightings. Lots of rhinos around as well but not many buffalos to be seen ( surprising given the heat and plenty of water in the pans.) We also had a good secretary bird sighting.

Umfolozi Big Five : Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo…. and wild dogs and hyenas.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General game : Antelope, Wildebeest, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe etc.
