Weather : As we move into the winter the mornings are getting a little chilly. It did warm up later though and it turned out to be a perfect day with no wind.

A good day all in all. There was a pride of 8 lions between markers 25 and Mphafa in the south and not far from there we came across a small breakaway breeding elephant herd.The buffalo’s were strangely absent again and we had only one rhino sighting. Giraffes were plentiful as was general game.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo.

General Game : Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Baboon etc
