Weather : 4 seasons in one day today, we had the lot !!

Near marker 12 in the south this morning we were entertained for an hour by a pride of at least 14 lions. We followed them for a few km as they crossed from side to side, one of the best lion sightings ever without a doubt. A little earlier we came across a few hyena heading towards Mpila camp. At the White Umfolozi river there was a large elephant breeding herd milling around. Not many rhinos around today but we had good buffalo sightings.

Umfolozi Big Five sightings : Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino… and hyena.

Hluhluwe Big Five sightings : Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Rhino.

General Game : Antelope, Warthog, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Zebra, Baboon etc.
