A tough day in the Park today but at least the weather was kind to us ! Even the general game, such as giraffes, zebras, antelopes, warthogs etc. were scarce. but we eventually spotted 4 lions sunning themselves in the river bed while we were having lunch at Umganu. After being “elephantless” for the whole day were treated to a bull ele strutting his stuff near Nyalazi gate on the way out of the Park. So, although it was a relatively quiet day we can still consider ourselves fortunate to have this beautiful game reserve on our doorstep. It always has something to offer, not least of all, spectacular landscapes.
