It was a very strange day in the bush today… we had a cracking first hour during which we saw wild dogs, a cheetah and a small herd of elephants. After that it was extremely tough going and very unpleasant from a weather point of view, very hot with a gale force easterly wind. Along with countless fires burning in the Park it was not a very nice place to be. We did get elephants again later in the day near Nyalazi Gate. Rhino sightings were good today but bird and general game sightings were few and far between.
