Another very difficult day out there today. After being spoilt for a few days it’s back to earth with a bang !! The weather was diabolical today. It was muggy and breezy to begin with but then the wind kicked up to gale force and the temperature plunged with it. This made conditions very unpleasant for game viewing and the animals seemingly agreed as they simply disappeared !! We did see a couple of bull elephants near the Black Umfolozi bridge and there was also a rhino sighting here and there. The most abundant animals out there today were the giraffes, they seemed to pop up around every corner, but , then again, one can never get enough of these amazing creatures !!
