Can’t imagine there could be worse weather than we had in the Park today, it blew a gale force Easterly the whole day which turned the Park into one huge dust bowl. To add to our weather woes it was also extremely cold early on and… of course… bone dry !! Despite this we got a pride of lions in the river bed at Umganu early this morning, and they were still there when we stopped for lunch 6 hours later !! We also had good rhino and buffalo sightings and there were a couple of bull elephants milling around here and there. As has been the case recently there were lots of giraffes and nyalas to be seen as well.
