Sometimes it takes our overseas visitors to remind us how lucky we are to live in a country with so much open space around us and so many amazing animals in our Game Reserves. This was certainly the case today because what we thought was a pretty ordinary kind of day was for them a fantastic safari adventure !! There were quite a few elephants dotted around the Park as well as lion and cheetah sightings near view point 17 in the south. Near Maphamulo picnic site in the north of the Park we saw a beautiful malachite kingfisher sitting on a water lilly with a huge crocodile not more than 1 meter away ! Plenty of rhinos and giraffes around today as well but general game such as zebras, wildebeest were quite scarce.
