We had a great day in the bush today. There were plenty of elephants around, including a breeding herd with newborns near Mpila camp early on. A little later we came across 4 lions between markers 24 & 25 in the south. Just before that there was a leopard sighting near marker 15 as well as a cheetah sighting near Centenary Centre. The highlight of our day was a pride of lions walking in front of our vehicle between markers 12 & 28. We enjoyed them for 30 minutes before the traffic arrived and sent them deeper into the bush. There were big buffalo herds all around today but only a few isolated giraffes. General game, however, was good so all in all we have nothing to complain about.
