Lucky for us the lions were out in force today : First there was a lion and lioness sitting proudly on a flat rock at view point 17 in the south, and later another couple that have been gracing us with their presence in recent days made another appearance not far away from where the first sighting was. Lots of elephants today as well, these ( sometimes) gentle giants are always fascinating to observe and we had great opportunities today to get close up and personal, whilst always being mindful of our guest’s safety. It was also good to see the rollers and bee eaters on Sontuli loop and at the end of the loop near view point 17 there was plenty of general game to be seen.
